This notification is triggered when any updates are made to an upcoming trip (accepted by the driver), either by the customer or the operator. To avoid spamming the driver with multiple notifications for the same trip, there is a 10-minute delay between the modification and the notification. All related updates are grouped into one notification per trip if they haven’t been acknowledged yet.
Note: The driver must acknowledge the changes before starting the trip.
This notification can be enabled in General > Communications > Drivers > Send driver trip update notifications. It is off by default.
If the driver has the Moovs Driver App, they will receive a push notification. If they don't, they’ll receive an SMS with the update.
