If your customer booked multiple trips under one reservation number, but instead of paying for the entire amount, prefers to pay on a per-trip basis, then here's an effective way of doing it. 1. Go to the reservation number System Limitation: Moovs does not support splitting a round trip reservation into separate one-way trips after booking. For separate invoicing, create two one-way reservations during booking.
When managing round trips in Moovs, always consider creating separate trips upfront if individual invoicing is anticipated. This approach avoids the system's limitations and streamlines the billing process.
Select the trip you want to charge and click on Edit When editing, double-check the trip details to ensure the correct leg of the journey is selected for billing.
3. Go to the Money tab and click Charge Customer Check the financial details displayed in the Money tab to confirm accuracy before proceeding.
Proper planning during booking ensures that you can invoice trips effectively without being constrained by platform limitations, improving customer satisfaction and operational flexibility.
4. The amount for that trip should show on top. Enter the value, select a payment method, add notes (if applicable), and click on Charge Customer. Make sure to repeat this process for each trip leg that requires separate invoicing, ensuring accurate and complete records.
